Navigating the system of addiction can be an overwhelming task for families seeking help for their loved ones. This presentation will assist participants in understanding the various types of treatment options (their definitions) and provide participants with a roadmap to help them navigate “the system” of addiction.

About the presenter: Arlene Rice is a RN-BSN, she resides in Louisville, Kentucky where she founded The Gabriel Project 930, an outreach program for those struggling with a substance use disorder, their families and the community. Arlene is also the author of, “Parent of an Adult Addict: Hope for the Broken Road.”

  3. Learn next steps to determine the best option for your loved one
  4. View a sample “road map” for getting your loved one help
